After over 37 years of retail experience in art and picture framing, we feel qualified to handle your art with the care and experience it deserves. We offer conservation and restoration for most of your fine arts. We specialize in restorations of canvas paintings, both oil and acrylic. All work is supervised by Edward Nader, Jr. with over 20 years of certification and nearly 37 years experience. A Certified Picture Framer must pass certification exams and have stingent guidelines in which to practice.
During the restoration
process, it is necessary to remove all the varnish in order to properly
restore the painting. Old varnish is much darker than new varnish, and will
have years of atmospheric pollution, therefore once removed, the true colors
in the painting will be revealed and the painting will be much brighter
in appearance.
